Areas of Responsibility:
• Development and maintenance of a unique biological insect species
• Work in a biological breeding facility to optimize the black soldier fly (BSF) throughout all of its developmental stages: breeding, growth under controlled conditions and extraction of high-value, end products
• Development of expertise in the field and leading the array of breeding routines; research planning and experimental design of the processes all the way to full commercialization

Required Skills:
• Ability to design and conduct research, troubleshoot and solve problems throughout the entire R&D process
• Experience in documenting and analyzing data related to biological processes and in drawing conclusions, is required
• A proven ability to manage a small team and work together in an organized and systematic manner as well as to plan, set up and maintain experiments, while standardizing and quantifying the results

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences Entomology/ Agriculture/ Biotechnology is mandatory
• Knowledge and track record in conducting experiments, preferably in the field of life sciences - an advantage
• Previous experience in the field and work in biological /entomological development, independently or alongside an accompanying team - an advantage
• Excellent human relations and interpersonal communication skills
• Advanced level in English
