Job Description:
We are currently looking for a Scale-Up Process Specialist Engineer with a strong background in microbiology and formulation. This role will play a crucial part in our company's growth, bridging the gap between our R&D efforts and the large-scale production of our innovative products.
Responsibilities:
• Process Development and Scale-Up: Lead the scaling-up of our proprietary bacteriophage products from R&D to commercial production, tackling challenges along the path.
• Technical Transfer: Conduct effective transfer of processes from R&D to production, ensuring smooth communication and implementation of process details, operating parameters, equipment specifications, and safety protocols.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, and Manufacturing teams to ensure successful scale-up and launch of products.
• Optimization: Develop and optimize scalable, robust, and cost-effective manufacturing processes including the development of unique formulations.

Qualifications:
• Minimal B.Sc./M.Sc. degree in chemical engineering, Biotechnology, Microbiology, or in a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in process engineering, scale-up, and formulation in a biotech or pharmaceutical environment.
• Strong background in microbiology is essential; experience in bacteriophage or related biological systems is highly beneficial.
• Proven experience in technical transfer and scaling processes from lab scale to industrial production.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and capacity to collaborate cross-functionally.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in process engineering, scale-up, and formulation in a biotech or pharmaceutical environment.
